This photo of one of our many sunflowers we planted in front of our home was taken on August 2, 2006.

This photo is also one of my favorites and one of the first I took with my digital Canon. This is a picture of the waterfall at the Flamingo resort in Las Vegas. I had the camera on manual mode with a 1 sec shutter speed on a mini tripod. The photo was taken in January 2005.

I have to admit I have no idea what this flower is called. I saw it one day while walking my kids to school. I like the macro affect with this photo. Nice background blur.

Early morning Petunias. Here is a good example of the result of the vivid photo setting. All the colors a brought out real nice.

This is a macro photo of an actual sunflower seed that seemed to have sprouted upside down or something. The seed was planted in the early spring and grew into a ten foot sunflower. Isn’t nature simply amazing.

These are exceptionally beautiful flowers. They bloom in early summer and can last well to the end of the Fall even in the Northern States. This picture was actually my first really good macro shot of the flower.

This macro shot produced just the right amount of photo clarity in the foreground and blur in the background resulting in an almost perfect picture.
